Alex Jones loses it on Piers Morgan: '1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms'

Controversial talk show host and noted conspiracy theorist Alex Jones got a little, er, animated during his interview(?) with Piers Morgan. Jones is one of the firearm advocates behind the White House petition to have Morgan deported for attacking the second amendment. Regardless of your stance on gun control, it's worth a watch, if only to see Jones freak out and challenge Morgan to a fight before sarcastically answering a question with, "How many chimpanzees can dance on the head of a pin?" He also offers up gems like:

"1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms."

"The number one cause of death is suicide, now, because they give people suicide mass murder pills!"

"[Britain's] got hordes of people burning cities and beating old women's brains out every day."

"America was born on guns and whiskey."

"How many great white sharks eat people? But, they're still afraid to swim."

UPDATE: Alex Jones has posted his personal account of what happened behind the scenes at CNN. He says he made one of the producers cry and was told to leave even though he'd been promised a third segment. He says that undercover cops were following him and that a "big, mean Bloomberg" detective got in his face. According to Jones, the undercover cops looked like they were from Goodfellas.

I guess Jones realizes you can't get through to Morgan with reasonable argument, so just debate as Morgan does and see what happens.

Alex Jones is a typical NRA Member. He is dangerous, insane, socially inept and stupid beyond belief.

And of course, this stupid crazy man has MILLIONS of Republicans followers.

I agree with Piers about his position on guns but don't put some crazy nut on to represent the other view. This guy is obviously insane and is not a good representation of gun owners. He is the extreme, to say the least.

This gun story is all about liberals want to take away something that's considered "conservative". That's the real objective. The right is approaching this argument all wrong. Instead of trying to reason with people determined to come up with any narrative they can to achieve their goal, people need to hit them at home. Ask a far left loon if we should take away the freedoms they enjoy. They don't want people in their bedroom but they can be in our kitchen, healthcare, gun room, etc etc.

your lack of insight is rather significant. the only things that the liberals are trying to ban are assault weapons. the only ones that need military grade weapons are the military. in fact i am not so sure that this even about the guns. part of being a partisan is the need to be right as opposed to correct.
