Here are some local places hosting a brunch on Sunday, May 11. They all have availability as of right now, but make sure you hurry up and make your reservation soon before all the spaces are filled up. A quick way to make a reservation for most of these places is to use opentable.com.
Brunch with Minas starts at 11 a.m. at the World Café Live in University City. Enjoy live music while dining on a special brunch menu. A full bar will also be available. Another great place for brunch and live music is 30 Main in Berwyn where your meal will be accompanied by the sweet sounds of jazz by Wally. Brunch there will be served between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
"Mum" is the word of the day at Mum's Day Brunch at the Victoria Freehouse in Old City where you can indulge in Cadbury chocolate, french toast, triple bacon pancakes, and elderflower fizz cocktails. They will be serving brunch between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
At Bar Ferdinand in Northern Liberties, the chef will be serving a four-course brunch which will include a crab and asparagus tart, heirloom tomato gazpacho, as well as French toast with fresh berries. Seating for brunch will be between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
For an extra special treat, splurge on the champagne brunch at Serendipity Farm in Doylestown. Enjoy a leisurely four-course meal that will include a champagne or mimosa toast. There is also a children's menu available so your kids will be happy too.
In Moorestown, from 10 a.m. to noon, Al Dente Italiana will be offering brunch as well including warm crepes and eggs benedict. While a fancy meal is nice, when you have small children, a kid-friendly option might be a better choice. The Farm & Fisherman Tavern & Market has a children's menu and will be running special games for the kids. Mom can sit back and relax with her complementary glass of bubbly. Everything starts at 11 a.m. at this Cherry Hill restaurant.
