Dudes, this one's for you. On Wednesday, Oct. 7, Metro Men's Clothing (1600 East Passyunk Ave.) turns British. UK wears will be for sale from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. while Brit-inspired cocktails will be served.

Looking good shouldn't cost a ton. Shop on a budget — with the help of a style blogger — at Greene Street (700 South St.) from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Italian lifestyle and fashion magazine Uomo Moderno is hosting a fashion show on Friday, Oct. 9, featuring six Italian designers at Voyeur Nightclub (1221 St. James St.) from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Taking the best of a bar crawl and shopping is the Rittenhouse Row Fashion Crawl. Hitting a number of shops in Rittenhouse Square, crawlers will be able to peep fashions and taste cocktails from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10.

Local budding fashion designers now have a support system in the brand-new Philadelphia Fashion Alliance. Seven independent designers will show their spring/summer collections at the Philadelphia Art Alliance's Wetherill Mansion (251 S. 18th St.) on Sunday, Oct. 11 for a launch event. Shop, sip champagne, and enjoy the views from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Inquirer's Elizabeth Wellington hosts an evening of style on Tuesday, Oct. 13 when top designers will show and explain how to nail fall trends. It all begins with a 6 p.m. cocktail hour at Philadelphia Media Network (801 Market St.).

The Headhouse Shambles (2nd and Pine Streets) turns into the ultimate runway on Wednesday, Oct. 14 for Fashion Under the Shambles. Local designers from the South Street area will show off their latest and greatest in both men and women's fashion starting at 7 p.m.

Take a few days off, but be sure to come back for stylish seconds at XIX Restaurant (200 S. Broad St.) on Monday, Oct. 19 to honor the most fashionable women in Philadelphia. This two-hour event, starting at 5:30 p.m. highlights stylish, philanthropic and community-oriented women.
