You made it through a post-holiday week. Now congratulate yourself with some serious good times.

For the final program in its 2014-2015 season, BalletX teams up with choreographer Adam Hougland — who's commissioned over 55 world premieres for the company in the last nine years — and local singer-songwriter Chris Kasper. Pairing Kasper's live music with a new piece from Hougland, the Summer Series will be a blending of sonic and visual storytelling. All performances are at the Wilma Theater (265 S. Broad St.) at 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 12.

Can you handle the cute-as-a-cat circus? The Amazing Acro-Cats will ride skateboards, walk a tightrope and ring bells at the Painted Bride Arts Center (230 Vine St.) over six performances. The one-hour show, featuring rescues, former orphans and strays, starts at 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 9 and Friday, July 10, 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 and 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 12.

Nothing can stop it! Blobfest, a three-day festival celebrating the 1958 classic horror film The Blob will have attendees running for the doors at the Colonial Theatre (227 Bridge St.) from Friday, July 10 through Sunday, July 12. Between the reenactment of the iconic "running-out-of-the-theater" scene on Friday at 7 p.m. to showings of The Blob and other horror throwbacks to a Saturday street festival from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

You're a rock star. Your instrument? Invisible. The U.S. Air Guitar Competition qualifier is Friday, July 10 at Johnny Brenda's (1201 N. Frankford Ave.) — and you can take part in the shredding spectacle. Make your way through three rounds of air guitar performing for a chance to compete in the Eastern Conference Championships in Washington, D.C. If you're competing, get there at 7:30 p.m., but if you're just coming to watch, the show starts at 9 p.m.

Turn your penchant for lawn games into cash during Wildwood's Cornhole Tournament. The beanbag toss game comes to the beach at Wildwood Avenue for two days of competition, Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12. Saturday's tournament is open to all ages and registration opens at 9:30 a.m. with the first contests beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday is where you win cash prizes. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with tournament start at 10:30 a.m. Bring a partner, sunscreen and your throwing arm and get tossing!

Peddlers Village (Routes 202 and 263, Lahaska)  Bluegrass and Blueberries Festival brings the freshest blueberries — and derivative treats, even blueberry fudge — and bluegrass performers for two days of sensory goodness. Non-blueberry eats include Bonjour Creperie, Sum Pig and Crabcake Sandwich. Also expect a lineup of crafters selling jewelry, handmade soaps and more. Performers start making beautiful sounds at 10 a.m. both Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12.

Eat, dance and be immersed in Latin culture for this weekend's Hispanic Fiesta at the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing (101 S. Columbus Blvd.). From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. both Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, food vendors representing almost every Latin American country, dancers, musicians, kids crafts and more will bring life and color to the waterfront space.

Let them eat cake! Don your best French Revolution garb — aristocrat or peasant — and storm the walls of Eastern State Penitentiary (2027 Fairmount Ave.) for Bastille Day on Saturday, July 11. Starting with a theatrical re-enactment from The Bearded Ladies Cabaret, beginning at 5:30 p.m., complete with Tastykake and Marie Antoinette (and a beheading). After all the excitement, Fairmount restaurants will keep with the theme and serve up French fare and fun.

Ocean City's annual boat parade and home decorating show, Night in Venice, hits the Shore on Saturday, July 11. At 6 p.m., check out boats decked to the nines (around the theme "Dancing Under the Stars") as they travel from the Longport Bridge to 23rd Street along the Ocean City bay.

Chestnut Hill goes to the dogs on Sunday, July 12 with their annual Dog Days of Summer street festival. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., pet rescue organizations, vets, pet trainers and pet and human activities will take place on East Southampton Avenue between the 8200 and 8300 blocks of Germantown Avenue.

There are seven separate divisions ranging from youth to adult and teams, professional to amateur. It's on the Heather Road beach in Wildwood from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 11.

The Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Art Festival, in its 23rd year, has works by nationally recognized artists including potter Lana Heckendorn and metal sculptor Domenico Belli, plus glass from the National Liberty Museum on display, a children's wood-working activity, music, food, and more.
