The saying “it’s raining cats and dogs” should be renamed “it’s raining just dogs” on Saturday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 16 as the Kennel Club of Philadelphia hosts the 2014 National Dog Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center (100 Station Ave.) in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

The saying "it's raining cats and dogs" should be renamed "it's raining just dogs" from Saturday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 16 as the Kennel Club of Philadelphia hosts the 2014 National Dog Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center (100 Station Ave.) in Oaks, Pennsylvania. Throughout the two-day span, guests of all ages can witness incredible maneuvers, shows, and entertainment from more than 160 breeds of dogs in all sizes. Saturday show hours are 8 a.m. through 6 p.m. and Sunday's show hours are 8:30 a.m. through 5 p.m. Here is what's happening throughout these two days so you're not chasing your own tail while at the show.

Breed Judging for all individually enlisted dogs will be hosted throughout the weekend. Breed judging will determine the seven finalists for the 2014 Best in Show winner. Seven groups of breeds are included in the judging. Some dogs in the group are listed below.

Toy Goup - Havanese, Brussels griffon, Italian greyhound.

Working Group - Leonberger, Doberman pinscher, Akita.

After the breed judging is completed, the First in Group contest will follow, determining the 2014 Best in Show winner of the top dogs compiled from each group.

Cheer on your favorite breed as Hall D is the zone for all the high-action flying tricks dogs can perform. The canines will show their smarts, skills, and agility during the weekend here.

Kids' activities throughout the weekend are not in short supply. Children can meet all the competing breeds of dogs up close and learn more about their traits, skills, and why they entered the dog show. Besides learning fun facts about the breeds, kids can get caricatures, dog-themed face paint, and tons more goodies to be offered at the show.
