Vox Populi opens new performance space, AUX

Vox Populi will open AUX, a new performance space adjacent from their gallery on the third floor of 319 North 11th Street on Friday, July 29th featuring 3 consecutive days of live art and music.

The opening evening will feature a collaborative performance called Rhomboid from dancer Gabrielle Revlock and violinist Jacob Mitas. Art collective Bodega will also present their dance piece entitled Dolphin.

Little Berlin curates Saturday's events, a hodge podge of music and puppetry. Sunday's programming belongs to Tiger Strikes Asteroid, with performances from Jesse Kudler and Kimberly Brandt. "Brandt uses muscle memory and spatial set-ups as an archive of past experience, while Kudler, a musician and live artist, self-reflexively deals with the nature and parameters of concert performance".
