Monday, Nov. 23

Kill two birds with one stone: Get your buzz on and get crafty at Tattooed Mom (530 South St.) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Create wire sculptures, enjoy half-priced drafts and veggie bites and 25% of the proceeds will go towards Philadelphia's Magic Gardens' education programs.

Have a jamming time at the Free Library of Philadelphia Central (1901 Vine St.) when cookbook author and food blogger Marisa McClellan and farmer Ben Wenk show you how to make cranberry sauce and apple cranberry jam starting at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 24

Bartenders from Charlie was a sinner., Cuba Libre, Indeblue and King's Oak will compete in the Mixology Mixer — and you're the judge. Taste cocktails crafted by each of the representatives at the Market and Shops at Comcast Center (1701 JFK Blvd.) and vote for your favorites on social media using #MixologyMixer. Sip responsibly from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Sent to Uganda to spread the word of the Book of Mormon, two unlikely missionaries get into a hilariously whacky mess in "The Book of Mormon," opening at 7:30 p.m. at the Forrest Theatre (1114 Walnut St.), running until Dec. 27.

Wednesday, Nov. 25

They grow up so fast. Celebrate the one-year anniversary of So Far Gone, the Dolphin Tavern's (1539 S. Broad St.) monthly Drake night. Starting at 9 p.m., Bounce Boyz will kick things off, at 11 p.m. Dirty South Joe brings out an all-future set and resident DJs Gun$ Garcia and Maglezzz round out the night with all-Drake starting at midnight.

King Britt, Alix Alvarez, Rob Paine and Francisco Collazo bring the dance jams for a Thanksgiving-eve party at 714 (714 W. Girard Ave.) starting at 10 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 26

Work up a calorie deficit. This five-mile Turkey Trot takes you on two flat loops around Fairmount Park. Registration opens at 7 a.m. at Memorial Hall (42nd St. and Parkside Ave.) and the race kicks off at 8:30 a.m.

Make the most of the impending holiday season when Longwood Gardens (1001 Longwood Rd., Kennett Square) debuts their Christmas display with seasonal plants, extravagantly decorated trees and illuminated fountains. The gardens are open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 27

Skip the mall on Black Friday and come to Bru (1316 Chestnut St.) instead, where it's happy hour all day. Starting at 11 a.m., they'll tap over 11 dark beers—including Left Hand Brewing Fade To Black, Left Hand Brewing Bittersweet, Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin and Carton Brewing Epitome and more — from 11 different breweries. All featured drafts are $4 until 7 p.m. and featured snacks are $5 and featured dishes are $10.

Record Store Day Black Friday brings exclusive releases from Phil Collins, The Cash, MGMT, Queen, Schoolly-D, The Isley Brothers and more. Scoop them up at Vinyl Revival (35-37 N. Lansdowne Ave., Lansdowne) from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 28

Shop local on Small Business Saturday. Shops along East Passyunk Ave. are offering deals including up to 75% off at Boutique W (1916 East Passyunk Ave.) and BOGO burgers at P'unk Burger (1823 East Passyunk Ave.).

If you didn't get enough of Drake on Wednesday night, come to Kung Fu Necktie (1250 N. Front St.) for a Justin Bieber, Jay Z, Kanye West and Drake party with Fame Lust and AZN Jake starting at 10 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 29

'Tis the season for holiday sipping. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Valenzano Winery (1090 Route 206, Shamong, N.J.) hosts their final day of Holiday Wine Trail Weekend. Enjoy live entertainment, wine tasting, barrel tasting and winery walk-through.

Pushing rewind on the year that was, 1812 Productions' "This Is The Week That Is" puts a comedic spin on the year's current events and politics through song and satire. Preview weekend closes with a 2 p.m. performance at Plays and Players Theatre (1714 Delancey St.).
