They'll want your skulls, they'll need your skulls

You know the tradition of bands doing cover sets on Halloween? Well this is kicking it up a notch. Ted Leo and Chris Wilson of the Pharmacists, Atom Goren of Atom & His Package, Andy Nelson of Paint it Black and Brian Sokel of AMFM will be teaming up this year for a show at Kung Fu Necktie. Who are they covering? Some little band from Jersey called the Misfits.

There aren’t many details yet, but mark this down already. Short of seeing Danzig with Doyle, this is the coolest version of Misfits songs you’ll likely ever get (have you even heard what Jerry Only is doing now? Someone stop this man). There will be two sets, one of the early era and one of the later era. Get stoked, this is gonna be the most fun ever.
