From over 200 artist pieces, live music, and delicious pierogies, the 23rd Annual Doylestown Arts Festival will keep you and your friends/family entertained all weekend long.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, hundreds of vendors line up along State, Main, West Oakland and Hamilton Streets in Doylestown, offering a large variety of entertainment and over 160 vendor tents, keeping your eyes glued to the wealth of items up for purchase.

A few vendors worth looking at are:

Freshen up your skin with scents that aren't found at your local grocery store with Kate Johnson's Mamoucha Soaps (booth 14). Not only is the soap handcrafted with cool patterns, customers can wash down in cocoa, earthy, and even cherry scents.

Fall is coming, and quicker than you think. Jean Truelove's (booth 51) artistic quilts make a perfect addition to your warm supplies for the fall, or even a great blanket for a picnic when it's nice out.

For the parents bringing their children to the festival, or for the adults who never wanted to grow up, Anne Dunlap (booth 109) will be painting faces throughout the festival. Get that tattoo you always wanted on your face, yet never wanted to have forever.

For those looking for an extreme ride: Berg Karts ($1 rental) will be available at the Pine Street Parking Garage for those who want to pedal around and try these fun carts. If you love the thrill of these vehicles, a Berg Kart will be raffled Sunday evening for $5 a ticket.

Wondering about food? No festival is complete without munchies. Take a trip to the food court located in the Hamilton Street Parking Lot and treat yourself to some appetizing vendors.

Mamma Mia! If your stomach craves Italian, Artistic Pizzeria, a Doylestown pizza shop, will satisfy your taste buds with authentic cuisine and sweet tomato pie slices.

Get a quick food fix or even a full meal from Gosia's Pierogies as this traveling vendor serves up homemade pierogies featuring 7 different flavors: potato and cheese, sweet cabbage, sauerkraut, sweet potato, prune, cottage cheese, and chicken. Frozen options are available to take home and cook for yourself, too.

A festival food favorite, hot dogs, will be present throughout the two days. Matty G Dogz cart not only whips up all-beef, and kosher dogs, but also brings Philadelphia favorite foods like soft pretzels, and Italian ice with them.

After you grab some lunch, take time to enjoy the live music provided in the four tents throughout the festival. Solo artists and local bands of all genres will perform at State and Main Streets, Main and Oakland Streets, Oakland and Hamilton Streets, and State and Pine Streets.

As if the festival isn't enough to boast about, the Thompson Bucks County Classic is set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 13 through Sunday, Sept. 14 as three professional races, a women's race, and a children's place all hit the streets of Bucks County for two days of competitive action.

All races will take place at East Court and Main Street.

Kick off your weekend at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday as over hundreds of professional cyclists compete in UCI World Cycling Tour taking them through six laps on the Carversville Circuit, starting in Doylestown and eventually ending in New Hope for the finale and contest results.

You don't have to leave Doylestown to see bicycle action on Sunday as the Cyclosportif recreational ride begins at 7 a.m., followed by a women's professional race at 10 a.m., a children's race at 11:30 a.m., and concluding the day is the Thompson Criterium of Doylestown at 12:30 p.m.
