This summer, The Oval – a popup park located in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway – invited visitors and residents of Philadelphia to participate in community-friendly programming and entertainment.

Back by popular demand, The Oval will reopen for two special fall-themed weekends starting Thursday, September 19 through Sunday, September 22 and then again on Thursday, October 10 through Sunday, October 13

The hip, urban oasis will re-activate itself for its first event, “Styled at The Oval, The New Shape of Fashion,” which will be complete with fashion shows, themed-movie screenings, local fashion vendors, food trucks, a win garden, live entertainment and much more; all in conjunction with The Philadelphia Collection. TPC is a weeklong series of fashion and style events held in the Center City District – more information can be found here. This will occur Thursday, September 19 through Sunday, September 22.

The second event, being held Thursday, October 10 through Sunday, October 13, will be “Harvest at The Oval, The New Shape of Fall.” Every day of the weekend long festival will offer a fall-themed program ranging anywhere from autumn food and beverage vendors, a PHAIR open market, a petting zoo, a costume party and more to come.

For more information on upcoming events, follow The Oval on Facebook.
