The Dolphin celebrates its one-year anniversary

It's time for me to shout it from the rooftops: I love The Dolphin Tavern.

The recently rehabbed South Philly dance music venue has quickly become my go-to spot to shake on the weekends (and week days), and it's not exactly in my neighborhood, which I think proves my loyalty to it. It's not just the cool wood paneled walls or the disco dance floor, it's also one of the only venues that regularly books a wide variety of acclaimed modern, and legendary, dance music DJs and producers. Pair that with a roster of established DJ locals and you've got the ultimate formula for goodness.

Tonight, Thursday, Mar. 20 from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m., The Dolphin (1539 S. Broad St.) will be celebrating its one-year anniversary with a dance party blowout sure to light a fire on the glowing, multi-colored dance floor. It also happens to be the first day of spring. Philly's own Magic Message DJs will be joined by Tiger & Woods and South London Ordnance for an unforgettable celebrating marking the first of many years to come for one of Philly's best clubs.

Tickets are just $10 and you must be 21+ to attend.
