Drawing inspiration from her experiences at Upper Darby High School, the film's writer and star, Tina Fey, comes back to her old stomping grounds for a 10-year anniversary screening of the landmark film and a Q&A session.
The Upper Darby Performing Arts Center kicks off its 40th Summer Stage season — a program in which Fey herself acted and directed — with this fund-raiser to support the theater program on Saturday, Aug. 16.
At 7:30 p.m., the 2004 film about the social rise and fall of protagonist Cady Heron and her involvement with super-clique The Plastics, will screen on the theater's three strategically placed projectors in order to ensure the most optimal viewing situation.
Following the movie, TV Guide Magazine Senior Writer Damian Holbrook will moderate a question and answer session with the woman of the hour.
Tickets are still available for the event and range between $40 and $100. Meet-and-greet tickets have since sold out.
