Sorry World Cup, we’re over you. Or we just need something to distract ourselves from the fact that our Twitter timelines are devoid of soccer commentary. That’s where the Philadelphia Freedoms come in. The tennis team begins their home schedule this week at Villanova University’s Pavilion in Villanova, PA with exciting A-list players and can’t-miss promotions.

The Freedoms, with the world’s current number four ranked singles player Victoria Azarenka, make their home debut on Tuesday, July 15 against the San Diego Aviators with first serve at 7 p.m. (though doors for all the matches open at 5:30 p.m.).

The next night, Wednesday, July 16 is Girls Night Out! Prior to the match against the Springfield Lasers, spectators who’ve purchased a Girls Night Out ticket can enjoy a special menu from Winnie’s LeBus Manayunk (featuring an artisanal cheeseboard, guac, hummus, kale salad, and tacos), desserts from Sweet Street Desserts and complimentary wine from Pinnacoli and Zaccagnini. The party, starting at 5:30 p.m., also includes an appearance from professional tennis player Lisa Raymond and tunes from country singer Kirsten Sowers.

During halftime of Thursday, July 17’s 7 p.m. match against the Washington Kastles, seven-time Grand Slam singles champion Venus Williams will present her collection of tennis attire, EleVen, during a fashion show emceed by Williams and Ben FM’s Marilyn Russell. Williams is playing double duty that night as fashionista and competitor as she faces off against Freedoms’ Vicky Duval.

Kids and Family Night awards the first 250 children, ages 14 and younger with a free junior tennis racquet on Friday, July 18. Also, before the 7 p.m. match against the Boston Lobsters, Ronald McDonald will be performing in celebration of mascot Nettie King’s first birthday.

U.S. Open Champion Andy Roddick will be supporting the Austin Aces on Monday, July 21 as they face the Philadelphia Freedoms at 7 p.m.

Two Philadelphia sports teams come together on Tuesday, July 22 for 76ers Night. Throughout the match against the Boston Lobsters, the Sixers Flight Squad and Dream Team dancers will perform and give away Sixers goodies to the crowd. During halftime, representatives from the Sixers and Freedoms will play in a match. In addition, any current and retired military personnel will receive a $10 discount when they purchase tickets at the box office for the 7 p.m. match.

The final home match on Wednesday, July 23 is for the guys. At 5:30 p.m., Guys Night Out ticketholders can grub on food from Winnie’s LeBus Manayunk,—guacamole, salsa, burgers, potato salad and cole slaw—enjoy desserts from Sweet Street Desserts and wash it all down with a complimentary brew from Yards. It also happens to be Flyers Appreciation night and fans can meet Flyers alumnus Todd Fedoruk, bid on signed racquets from Steve Mason and Kimmo Timonen and Flyers giveaways throughout the match against the Washington Kastles, starting at 7 p.m.
