Postponed and rescheduled fireworks shows

Every once in awhile we’re faced with a bit of bad weather—it’s good for nature, right? It’s just a shame it had to happen on a holiday where we do things outdoors. Here are a list of some of this year’s Fourth of July cancellations and postponements and what to do instead.

Saturday, July 5 is when Haddon Township, NJ's postponed fireworks spectacle will be held. Gates open at 7 p.m. at Haddon Township High School.

Ambler, Pa.'s fireworks at Wissahickon High School have been postponed to Saturday, July 5 at dusk.

The fireworks and concert at Upper Darby High School have been rescheduled to Saturday, July 5. The fun stuff starts at 7:30 p.m. with fireworks to follow at dusk.

A few Jersey shore towns that have rescheduled their fireworks include Cape MayLower Township, Margate, Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Barnegat Township and Wildwoodall rescheduled to Saturday, July 5.

Newtown Township's parade has been pushed back to Saturday, July 5 with at 10 a.m. start on West Chester Pike.

Haddonfield Memorial High School will have fireworks, just not as planned. They're shooting off around 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 6.

Avalon, NJ's 30th Street Beach will hold their postponed fireworks on Sunday, July 6 at 9:15 p.m.

Also on Sunday, July 6 are Barrington, N.J.'s rescheduled fireworks show, set to light up the sky at 9:30 p.m. at Woodland Middle School. The parade has been cancelled.

Atlantic City's fireworks have been pushed to Sunday, July 6 at the Atlantic City Boardwalk at 9:30 p.m.

The Clarence and Georgiana Davies Sports Complex will be the shootoff point for Middle Township, N.J.'s rescheduled show for Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m.

Conshohocken, Pa.'s fireworks in Sutcliffe Park are rescheduled to July 12 at dusk.

Sunday, July 13 is the make-up date for Washington Township, N.J.'s fireworks at Washington Lake Park at 7 p.m.

Nothing says July 4th like July 19. That's when the Medford, N.J., fireworks are set to go off at Freedom Park at 5 p.m.

Fireworks at Valenzano Winery in Shamong, N.J., have been tentatively rescheduled to Friday, Sept. 19 at dusk.

Eagleville Park's nighttime spectacle in Lower Providence Township, Pa., has been cancelled with no plans to reschedule at this time.

All activites in Valley Forge National Historical Park will go on as scheduled as long as the forecast is clear of lightning.
