A rejuvenating way to spend the day.

A rejuvenating way to spend the day.

For horticulture: Longwood Gardens' (1001 Longwood Rd., Kennett Square) kicked off their annual Chrysanthemum Festival yesterday, featuring over 200,000 of the Asian flower trained into spirals, balls and a chandelier. The gardens are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.

For a good cause: Not only are cuts and stylings at Giovanni and Pileggi (308 S. 12th St.) half off today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., all the proceeds will be donated to the Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health.

For brunch: From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., take your Sunday brunch with a side of spook. The Reeds at Shelter Haven (9601 3rd Ave., Stone Harbor, N.J.) are hosting a Halloween-themed brunch with menu items like Frankenstein's Green Eggs and Ham, Zombie Ribs and Witches Brew blackberry mimosa.

For a tour: You were there when art studios west of Broad St. opened their doors for Philadelphia Open Studio Tours, now today you can wander through studios east of Broad from noon to 6 p.m. This is a self-guided tour, so check any of the participating venues and make your way!

For dance vibes: They sold their beds — but not their stereos. Capital Cities bring their electro-dance on steroids to the Electric Factory (421 N. 7th St.) for an 8 p.m. show.
