Blink and you miss it.

Blink and you miss it.

For new parents: Plop your tot in the stroller and take them for a one-hour walk around Bellevue State Park (800 Carr Rd., Wilmington, Del.) with other parents with younguns. Meet at the park's children's train at 11 a.m.

For an educational happy hour: An easily digestible science lesson comes to WHYY (150 N. 6th St.) for Pint of Science where three experts will discuss the latest in HIV research, neurodegenerative diseases and spinal cord injuries from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Did we forget to mention there will also be beer?

For networking: Grab a drink and mingle with young professionals from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Rooftop Biergarten on the Skyline Terrace of the Parkway Central Free Library (1901 Vine St., 4th Floor). Munch on German snacks, too.

For somewhere over the rainbow: Need we say more? The Wizard of Oz is the featured movie today at the Trocadero (1003 Arch St.). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for this over-21 event and your admission goes toward a drink or snack, too. The flick itself starts at 8 p.m.

For a half-decade's worth of music: 74-year-old folk singer-songwriter Buffy Sainte-Marie comes to World Café Live (3025 Walnut St.) to tour behind her latest LP Power In The Blood out last week. Doors open at 8 p.m. Update: This show has been postponed due to illness.
