#PhillyFive Things to Do: March 29, 2015

What a special day it is.

What a special day it is.

For Women's History Month: Take an hour-long tour either at 11:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. at the National Museum of American Jewish History (101. S. Independence Mall East) to learn a bit about notable women in American Jewish history.

For a snack: Choose between cheese or chocolate fondue (or both if you're feeling up to it) at Chaddsford Winery's (632 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford) Wine and Fondue afternoon (the final one of the series). Make a reservation (call 610-388-6221) for between noon and 5 p.m. and dip and sip — you'll be provided wines that pair perfectly with your fondue choice.

For seasonal sweetness: Bring an open mind and create a floral arrangement to take home at this 1:30 p.m. spring basket planter class at Mostardi Nursery (4033 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square).

For a festive activity: Use the methods of the Pennsylvania Dutch to naturally dye Easter eggs at Norristown Farm Park  (2500 Upper Farm Rd., Norristown). At 2 p.m., bring your own hard-boiled eggs and watch as wild berries, bark, grass and roots pigment the eggs.

For a benefit: Acoustic sets from Spraynard, Victory in Numbers, JB & Morgan, Teanna & Kayle Originals and more are set for the first-ever Rock Around Your Disorder Benefit Concert, promoting mental health awareness through music, starting at 6 p.m. at The Fire (412 W. Girard Ave.).
