We’ll see you at brunch.

We'll see you at brunch.

For brunch: Hope you don't mind a side of soul hits with your brunch. DJ DNA plays the best during Second Sunday Gospel Brunch at Johnny Brenda's (1201 Frankford Ave.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For lovers: Ladies taking a walk down the aisle in the near future, stop by Hilton Philadelphia City Ave. (4200 City Ave.) for the Bliss Philly Bridal Expo and Gown Sale. Shop for the dress of a lifetime, get a free makeover, taste cake samples, peruse vendors and more from noon to 4 p.m.

For local agriculture: The Local Food for Thought Fare 2, held at Camden County Environmental Center (1301 Park Blvd., Cherry Hill, N.J.) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., encourages visitors about the benefits of buying produce locally. Speak with folks from local CSA farms, food buying clubs and food banks to get the 411 on community gardens, composting and the like.

For a nature walk: It's all about that bark, 'bout that bark at Swarthmore College's Scott Arboretum (500 College Ave., Swarthmore, Pa.) during a walk with their curator. From 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., you'll learn about ornamental bark (which is exactly how it sounds, bark that is a bit unusual and eye-catching).

For wordsmiths: Channel your artistic inspiration into textural works of art at the Michner Art Museum (138 S. Pine St., Doylestown, Pa.). Looking at works from the "Starstruck: The Fine art of Astrophotography" exhibit, you'll craft poems from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
