#PhillyFive Things to Do: Feb. 25, 2015

It’s all fun and games until someone gets bored.

It's all fun and games until someone gets bored.

For lunch with a side of smarts: The most balanced meals include some education. Bring your lunch to the Carriage House (1048 Washington St.) to talk top-rated presidents starting at noon.

For a community talk: As a part of the Philadelphia Art Alliance's (251 S. 18th St.) latest exhibit "Beyond The Wall," Marsha Levick, Esq., Deputy Director and Chief Counsel of the Juvenile Law Center, David Rudovsky, civil rights and criminal defense attorneys and Mural Arts Guild's Jessie Krimes and Russell Craig will speak about the juvenile justice system starting at 6 p.m.

For an excuse to look at your phone: During an orchestral performance of all places! The Philadelphia Orchestra's LiveNote nights feature facts and figures delivered right to your phone using the LiveNote app in addition to conductor chats and a chance to meet the performers. Tonight's performance, 6:30 p.m. at the Kimmel Center (Broad and Spruce Streets), features a violin concerto and Debussy's Iberia.

For a taste-test: To kick off a series of four healthy-eating demonstrations, Sheryll Chavarria of Raw Can Roll Cafe in Devon will prepare — and you'll get to taste — natural, organic and fresh dishes. The demonstration begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Wayne Art Center (413 Maplewood Ave., Wayne).

For a country vet: Grammy winner, Travis Tritt, brings his multi-generational country hits to the Levoy Theater (126-130 N. High St., Millville) for an 8 p.m. show.
