Have yourself a merry little Tuesday.

For a tale of Christmas' past: Join Scrooge on a musical journey from heartless holiday-hater to warm and cheery lover of life at the Walnut Street Theatre (825 Walnut St.) for their 10:30 a.m. production of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol."

For a workshop: Parents know there are few things better than a gift from the heart. But how about your kid's hands? During this two-hour class starting at 4 p.m., children ages 9 to 12 will learn how to make necklaces with wire, chain and beads at the Wayne Art Center (413 Maplewood Ave., Wayne, Pa.).

For a talk: Through a collection of images of abandoned homes, buildings and street corners in North Philadelphia, artist Daniel Traub captures the neighborhood in his book of portraits of the same name. He discusses it and signs copies tonight at 6 p.m. at the Print Center (1614 Latimer St.).

For an evening ride: Cape May spreads the holiday cheer through a trolley tour between two historic buildings: The Cherry House (built in 1849) and the Cold Spring Lifesaving Station #136. You'll learn about the landmarks' history and get a sweet view of historic Cape May in the process. The tour departs at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth (at Ocean Street) at 6 p.m.

For a celebration: After the lighting of the outdoor menorah, file back inside Old York Road Temple Beth Am (971 Old York Rd., Abington, Pa.) for a music-fueled lesson on the history of Chanukah at 7 p.m.
