You could meet the love of your life at any of these events.

For female movers and shakers: Hang with go-getting ladies at Pipeline Philly (30 S. 15th St.) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for wine and discussion with Arielle Friendlander, the founder of the Wellness Nosh, healthy-eating meetups.

For a trip around the world: Learn about the ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza, who's origins have seldom been told, at the Penn Museum (3260 South St.) at this 6 p.m. lecture.

For a preview: An adaptation on Homer's "Odyssey," Inis Nua Theatre Company's "Penelope," in which the last four of 100 suitors await Penelope's husband's potential return from the Trojan Wars, hits the Prince Theater (1412 Chestnut St.) stage at 7 p.m. for a preview.

For a showcase: A collection of local artists in disciplines ranging from fashion to makeup to performing art all displaying their talents starting at 8 p.m. at the Trocadero (1003 Arch St.).

For a residency: Local singer-songwriter Candice Martello aka Hemming caught a break on VH1's "Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project" as one half of the punk duo Omar. The show forced her to go out on her own and she ended up tying for first in the reality show. She begins her month-long residency at Ortlieb's (847 N. 3rd St.) at 9 p.m. tonight.
