Be the friend with all the coolest suggestions.

Be the friend with all the coolest suggestions.

For ladies: Many shops in Downtown Haddonfield (along Haddon Ave., Kings Highway, Tanner St., Mechanic St., Kings Court and Ellis St.) are offering discounts and promotions for Girls' Night Out from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

For a perfect pairing: Step one: Go for a run. Step two: Drink beer. Meet at Franklin Square (6th and Race Streets) at 6 p.m. for an hour run ending at Yards Brewery where you'll be treated to post-run beverages.

For a fundraiser: Local contemporary dance company BalletX holds their yearly benefit party from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Observatory at the Top of the Tower (1717 Arch St.) for a live auction, raffle, dinner buffet, cocktails and a BalletX performance.

For a new production: Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" hits the Plays and Players Theater (1714 Delancey Place) stage at 7 p.m. for a preview of the psychological drama where two couples — one old, one young — face marital warfare, humiliation, frustration and manipulation.

For a musical showcase: Each month Red Bull Sound Select, a locally curated musical event, comes to Underground Arts (1200 Callowhill St.) highlighting both local and national talent. This month's show, beginning at 8 p.m. sees Long Island's Rakim, Brooklyn's Dyme A Duzin and Philly's own Chill Moody.
