Remember when we announced the exciting news for our local fashion scene that a new fashion initiative devoted to fashion design called the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator was launched? Well, next week PFI will be hosting a sample sale featuring the designs of the four selected designers-in-residence- Moore graduate Melissa D’Angostino, Philadelphia University Alumna Kaitlyn Doherty, former Drexel University student Autumn Kietponglert, and wild cards Latifat Obajinmi and Moriamo Johnson. This is the first public debut of the designer’s apparel being showcased together since the program officially launched in March.
Happening on Wednesday, July 18, from 4-8pm at The Sofitel Philadelphia, the sample sale will not only give attendees a chance to meet and chat with the designers but also exclusive pricing! Considering this is a pretty groundbreaking event for our fashion scene, we will definitely be in attendance. See you there!
