Try out those Pinterest DIYs at Philly's Etsy Craft Party

´╗┐Get crafty at Etsy's fourth annual Craft Party on Thursday, June 20.

The online craft outlet is hosting a worldwide crafting festival that celebrates all things DIY. Cities around the world, including Tokyo, San Francisco and Berlin, are taking part in this global bash. This year's craft party theme is "Crafting for Community," and craft aficionados are encouraged to create projects that will benefit their communities.

In Philly, the festivities kick off with a potluck-style party at 3rd Ward Philadelphia. Participants can bring their favorite art supplies and work on any DIY project they want. Extra supplies left over from the event will be donated to local arts organizations. And for all the green thumbs in Philly, NextFab Studio is hosting a planter project party.

Can't make it downtown for the Craft Party? You can host your own craft party and still make a difference through your artistry from the comforts of home.

So get out those Martha Stewart tutorials and start planning out how you'll spend your arts and crafts day.
