‘NSFW’: New local web series premieres this Tuesday

Working in an office certainly has its perks: free coffee and sticky notes in every color of the rainbow; juicy water cooler gossip; feelings of hard work and accomplishment.

Working in an office certainly has its perks: free coffee and sticky notes in every color of the rainbow; juicy water cooler gossip; feelings of hard work and accomplishment. And in the case of Ronny Bobrovsky—a fresh-faced worker with a passion for cinematography—other hard things too (and we're not talking scheduling conflicts). A new hire at American Internet, an online porn distribution company, Bobrovsky must navigate the peaks and umm, "valleys" of the porn biz in NSFW, a new web series premiering this Tuesday, April 15, at Milkboy Philly.

Written and produced by Philadelphia duo Robert Yula (Shopping in the Afterlife) and Marc Cantone (The City and Horses), NSFW features a standout cast, including many of the city's top improv performers, including Joe Sabatino, Eoin O'Shea, Joel Sumner, Matt Nelson, Jessica Ross, and Tabitha Allen. The all-local crew also features director Edward Matthias, known for his work on 2008 award-winning documentary Pressure Cooker.

The cast and crew will premiereed the series during a free screening party Tuesday night at Milkboy Philly; it will be immediately followed by a dance party with DJ Uncle Carls (because sometimes, the best way to deal with porn-y awkwardness is to dance it out). Check out the trailer below—despite the name, we promise it's ok to watch at your desk.

8:00 (doors at 7:00) at Milkboy Philly, 1100 Chestnut Street, free.
