On February 12th, 2013, Philadelphia nail art company Nail Tite will host an exclusive screening of NAILgasm, the premiere documentary on the global nail artist movement, at the Asian Arts Initiative. Featuring interviews and work by notable nail artists in many cities, NAILgasm explores how this trend went from being championed in niche communities to the world's biggest popstars, and it's surprising impact on women entrepreneurs.

Created by Los Angeles-based videographer Ayla Montgomery, better known as Brass, NAILgasm is part of Nail Tite's self love-themed events during the month of February. Brass will be in attendance for a Q&A following the film. RSVP ahead of the event here; tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

What: NAILgasm documentary screening

When: February 12th, 2013; 7-9pm

Where: Asian Arts Initiative, 1219 Vine St., Philadelphia, PA 19107
