Lazy Rich & Funkagenda hit the decks at Lit Ultrabar tomorrow

To add to the huge DJ lineup Philly has had this summer, Lazy Rich & Funkagenda will be taking over the booth at Lit Ultrabar tomorrow. Another great excuse to get funky.

Lazy Rich & Funkagenda hit the decks at Lit Ultrabar tomorrow

POSTED: Wednesday, August 8, 2012, 2:52 PM

A Canadian and a British fellow walk into a bar...think you've heard it before?  Think again.  Canada's own Lazy Rich and UK based Funkagenda will be throwing down at Lit UltraBar tomorrow, and they will definitely be bringing the ruckus.  Lit has seen some great talent come through this summer, and these two have made it that much better.

Lazy Rich has been building a name in the Electro House ranks over the last few years, and if you haven't heard of him, you're missing out.  Releases like his "Sundown" and "Don't Break It" remixes have been huge over the last few months, and they have really helped promote his summer tour.  From Sunset Music Festival to local solo shows, Lazy Rich has made his way around the US but we couldn't be happier that he is stopping here.

Funkagenda is brash, controversial, and easily one of the best people to follow on Twitter.  He's sparked twitter battles with fans and artists alike, creating a name outside of just his productions.  Social media aside however, Funkagenda is equally as impressive a producer and DJ as he is a trash talker.  His deep and tantalizing "Must Be The Feeling" remix may be a familiar tune to some, but originals like "Shinjuku" and "Splinter" really exemplify his style and technique.  He's coming off performances at EDC NYC and Las Vegas, as well as stops at Amnesia in Ibiza and Global Gathering in the UK.  His sets have been uploaded to his Soundcloud, so go check them out and see what he's been dropping.

Thursday is definitely going to be a big night and easily one of the best in August.  Below are Lazy Rich's most recent radio show recording as well as Funkagenda's set from his most recent stint in Ibiza.
