Journey back in time at THIS IS HOW WE DO IT - The 90s Party!

Twenty years ago we wore our hats backwards, our moods on our rings and our sweaters on our waists. Tu Pac wasn't a hologram, Mariah Carey was an idol, and boy bands ruled the world. If you miss the 90s as much as we do, then you will be like totally stoked to know that your favorite decade is making a comeback this Friday at THIS IS HOW WE DO IT - The 90s Party!

Journey back in time at THIS IS HOW WE DO IT - The 90s Party!

Twenty years ago we wore our hats backwards, our moods on our rings and our sweaters on our waists. Tu Pac wasn’t a hologram, Mariah Carey was an idol, and boy bands ruled the world. If you miss the 90s as much as we do, then you will be like totally stoked to know that your favorite decade is making a comeback this Friday at THIS IS HOW WE DO IT – The 90s Party!

That’s right, THIS IS HOW WE DO IT is officially back on the scene with their Spring Bling edition, and we couldn’t be more excited. On Friday, March 22, the Troc Balcony will be transformed into a world of 90s rock, dance jams and hip hop beats. These nostalgic sounds will be brought to you by DJ HONKYTRON, and it’s clearly going to be an epic journey back in time.

Make sure you’re wearing your freshest 90s gear because you’re going to want to dress to impress (remember, the theme is Spring Bling). Dust off your track suits, sweat bands, JNCO jeans, snap bracelets, Umbro shorts, biker caps, light up sneaks, and Tommy Hilfiger attire. Ladies – work those mall bangs and fellas – rock that gel spiked hair. Let’s jiggy wit’ it.

I miss the days of Slick Willy getting Hershiser's in the Oval Office. Times were good.

If people wear 90s gear, they won't look different than today. There was more change in the 20 year span of the 1950s-1970s, than 1990s-today. Stop trying to fabricate "old school".

Do they still turn their head when you light up a joint on the balcony anymore?

As far as music goes, there is nary a difference between today and the 90s. It is just less eclectic now and more homogeneous. Sad.

the styles are pretty much the same too all the way back to like 1998.
