When it comes to shopping, women in Philly have a lot of options. Yet, there are very few shops made just for the boys, so it's a good thing that Kembrel opened a dedicated menswear shop on 1219 Locust Street this past Friday. The Kembrel Men's Shop is small boutique with a wonderfully curated selection of clothes for the guy who has a casual interest fashion, to the guy who reads GQ religiously and is up to date on all the latest trends.
The style of clothing ranges from tailored to casual. They also carry shoes, outerwear, and backpacks. Featuring brands such as 611 Lifestyle, ARSNL, J.C. Rags, Life After Denim, Ben Sherman, 3rd & Army, Fred Perry, and J.A.G.H.S Shirt Co, there's something for every guy. Kembrel aims to rotate the featured designers and brands in the store on a weekly basis, so if you see something you like grab it while you can.
The menswear shop has some really nice interior design details such as custom made furniture by Peter de Jong, all of which can be purchased through the store. There are also antiques displayed throughout the small space. The overall effect gives a very comfortable masculine vibe.
