Ice cream, yoga and flowers are on the event menu this weekend

After last weekend’s marathon of festivals, things settle down a bit this weekend (but not too much). Catch your breath, throw on your shades and hit the town, or towns, of your choosing. Here’s what we've got going on this weekend.

A three-day carnival and festival in Wilmington, DE's Rockford Park starting Thursday, May 8 has been a charitable mainstay in the state since 1921. Wilmington Flower Market has three jam-packed days of rides, games, retail, flowers, and music—with headliners American Authors, Matt Nathansan and The Ready Set. Each day begins at 10 a.m.

You see her on The View, now get to know Joy Behar in a smaller setting at Bucks County Playhouse when she brings her one-woman show to the stage Friday, May 9 (8 p.m.), Saturday, May 10 (8 p.m.) and Sunday, May 11 (3 p.m.). The talk show host will discuss her life and career during "Me, My Mouth and I."

Another Phila Flea Market pops up this weekend, this time along Main Street Manayunk. This vintage flea market will offer antique and vintage goods from over 50 vendors, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

I promised relaxation, so here it is: all day Saturday, May 10 at the WHYY Building, yoga workshops and presentations will be held, kicking off at 8 a.m., in honor of Namas Day, a day dedicated to bringing the yoga community together.

The Pan Asian Association of Greater Philadelphia is holding their annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Celebration at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10. Immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of the area's Asian communities in Franklin Square.

Art Star Gallery and Boutique is holding their 11th Annual Art Star Craft Bazaar on both Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. featuring lots of fun goodies and local musicians.

The Clay Studio is celebrating their 40th birthday and you're invited. The art space is offering 40 hours of programming starting Friday, May 9 at 10 a.m., however Saturday, May 10 is when their ice cream social will happen at 2 p.m. Craft your own ice cream bowl and get a sugar-high on the sweet stuff, brought to you by Little Baby's Ice Cream, after. Remember to pick up your new favorite piece of kitchenware in two weeks after the session.

Two local radio stations are holding big music bashes this weekend at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ with lots of big-name headliners. WMMR's MMRBQ will see performances from Rob Zombie, Dropkick Murphys and Fuel (to name a few) on Saturday, May 10 starting at 1 p.m. You can also celebrate Radio 104.5's birthday with Third Eye Blind, Foster the People, Bastille and more starting at 2 p.m.

Sunday, May 11 is Mother's Day (and boy do we have some events for you), and thousands will run and walk to help find a cure for breast cancer at the 24th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The race starts at the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 8:15 a.m. and entertainment and awards to follow.
