Although the Fringe Festival does not begin until September 5, tickets are available online for this one-of-a-kind celebration of the city's burgeoning arts scene.

Formerly known as the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe, FringeArts is hosting an 18-day festival that celebrates the best of local and global dance, music, theater, visual and multimedia arts. This year, the festival will feature seven international artists, four world premieres and two re-imagined productions from past Fringe installations.

FringeArts is a platform for emerging artists of all backgrounds and skills to showcase their talents and unfaltering passion. Thousands of people come to the many FringeArts locales every year to experience the city's flourishing arts.

In February, FringeArts announced a new permanent home on the Delaware River Waterfront along with their renovated namesake. Although the organization is making changes, the penchant for high-quality art is still the same.

Popular crowd-pleasers from previous FringeArts festivals are returning to wow guests, like Nichole Canuso Dance Company, EgoPo Classic Theater, Philly Improv Theater, Tribe of Fools and Leah Stein Dance Company.
