Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Queer cult classic "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" comes to the Plays and Players Theatre (1714 Delancey St.) for a special engagement produced by Theater Exile. Exile favorites take the stage in Edward Albee's cultural landmark that has been riveting audiences for over 50 years.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? runs April 17 to May 17 at various times. Tickets are $35. For tickets.  

2nd Annual Charity Flip Cup Tournament

The gay and straight-allied millennial event of the season, the Charity Flip Cup Tournament is back for its second year. Benefiting the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter MS Society and Mazeppa Productions, the event is happening at the Field House (1150 Filbert St.) on Friday, April 17. Last year, the event raised over $5,000.  Registration for the event is closed, but voyeurs are invited to watch the madness and mayhem.

The flipping begins at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 and available at the door.

The Eric Jaffe Show

Hosted by Eric Jaffe, this monthly live singing cabaret returns to Tavern on Camac (243 S. Camac St.) on Friday, April 17. With performances by Pissy Myles, Jonathan Hernandez, Kaleia, and Ang Bocca, the show promises to be music to your ears.

Doors at 7:30pm. Show at 8:00pm. No cover.

Cake 3: An NSFW Anniversary Dance Party

One, two, three, not only you and me. NSFW is celebrating their third anniversary at Medusa Lounge (27 S. 21st St) on Friday, April 17.  DJ Sharyn Stone spins. Underwear strongly encouraged. The candles are ready to be blown. Blown out of course.

Ham and Milk: An Unbalanced Meal

The Haus of Ham, a local troupe of queer performers, are joining forces with New York City's Dairy Queens for one night only at Voyeur Nightclub (1221 St. James Place) on Saturday, April 18. Ham and Milk: An Unbalanced Meal will feature performances Milk Queen from season six of RuPaul's Drag Race, Skim Burley, Mistor Fahrenheit, and Lili St. Queer.

$20 VIP meet and greet; $12 general admission. For tickets.

QOTA: Metro Men's Clothing

Queer on the Avenue always brings the boys out and about to East Passyunk retailers and restaurants. Fabulous gay owned Metro Men's Clothing (1600 East Passyunk Ave.) will host one of the fiercest QOTA gatherings of the year on Sunday, April 19. Have some fun in the sun while you enjoy complimentary adult beverages and snacks with 15% off everything in the store. The boutique will also host a special Parke & Ronan trunk show with models showing off their summer swim and beachwear. Look but don't touch.

Standing On Ceremony

Quince Productions is reviving its 2014 hit "Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays" for one night only Sunday, April 19 at Walnut Street Theatre, Studio 5 (825 Walnut St.). A night of "microplays" written by eight of Broadway's most brilliant playwrights, expect emotion, heart, and humor. Alternating between hilarious, touching, and shocking, Standing on Ceremony offers unique perspectives on what happens when we say "I do". Ticket sales benefit I'm From Driftwood and GayFest!, Philadelphia's only annual LGBT theater festival.
