As if we needed another excuse to kick up our heels and stay out late, the anniversary of our country’s independence is the perfect instance to hit the town and have some fun this long weekend. Any under-21 partiers out there, keep in mind that many of these events require you to be of legal drinking age.

World renowned DJ Tiesto comes to the HQ Beach Club at Revel in Atlantic City, NJ for an all-day affair on Friday, July 4. From 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. don your best beach attire and get down to tracks “Red Lights,” “Wasted,” and other remixes that’ll fill up the eight hour party, so pace yourselves.

Sweat is more than encouraged at Kung Fu Necktie where local acts, with genres ranging from blues to folk, will play starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 4. The Fishtown venue will offer no cover charge in honor of the holiday, so celebrate the freedom accordingly.

If you thought a barbecue was fun, just wait until you experience a Rad-B-Q. Take a load off on Friday, July 4 at Bamboo Bar in Northern Liberties for the latest Making Time music event featuring Australian trio Movement. Doors open at 7 p.m. and from then until 9 p.m. partiers can indulge in free Tecate & Heineken and $5 Sailor Jerry Half Fishbowls.

All the fun happens when the sun goes down. The Wawa Welcome America! Fourth of July Jam on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway brings top artists Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Hudson, Aloe Blacc, Ariana Grande, and Vicci Martinez and the Roots to the art museum area for a concert followed by a fireworks show starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 4.

Hop aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia for a two-hour, patriotic midnight cruise. Wear your best red, white and blue and enjoy a dinner with a similar color scheme. You’ll depart from Penn’s Landing (401 South Columbus Boulevard) at midnight, but the ship boards at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4.

The party moves to the beach in Wildwood, NJ for a charity EDM music festival. BeachGlow brings several dance music performers to the beach at East Garfield Avenue for eight hours worth of sandy dancing with doors opening at 2 p.m. Count on games, a beer tent, dunk tanks and more to keep you occupied in between sets.

New Jersey EDM trio Cash Cash made waves with their radio hit “Take Me Home,” but the group has been expanding their repertoire with both remixes and original songs that more than beg for listeners to bust a move. They come to Mixx Nightclub at the Borgata in Atlantic City, NJ on Saturday, July 5 for a late-night party starting at 10 p.m.

If you’ve been keeping up with the Kardashians, you know that Scott Disick likes to have a bit of late night fun. Join in on the action on Saturday, July 5 when he comes to The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s in Atlantic City, NJ for a Hollywood-worthy party starting at 10 p.m.
