Two Philadelphia Festivals make it to Pitchfork’s Top 20 Summer Music Festivals
It’s times like these that make us super proud of our city’s music scene.
On Monday, Pitchfork posted their guide to the best festivals in North America and Europe, Pitchfork's 20 Essential Festivals of Summer 2012. Guess who is on it twice. Yup, that's right, our lovely city made it on the list for two of the festivals we gladly host! The Roots Picnic, happening this Saturday, June 2nd and Sunday, June 3rd, was first on the list followed by the Budweiser Made In America Festival which will hit Philly on September 1st and 2nd. We're feeling pretty lucky to have so much great live music action in Philly this summer. Will you be attending either of these fests?
