Lancaster Ave.) special dinner as it hosts its first ever Wine Dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 11 that will take visitors on a mouthwatering journey with selections such as tuna tartare with Charles & Charles Rose of Syrah, and short rib with Trinchero Mario's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. The dinner is $100 per person and starts at 6 p.m.
Thanksgiving is creeping upon us; time to get ready. On Wednesday, Nov. 12, learn how to master Thanksgiving dinner sides at the Yardley Inn (82 E Afton Ave) during a holiday workshop led by Chef Eben. On Wednesday, Nov. 12, shimmy shimmy over to Han Dynasty (123 Chestnut St.) for a special Wu-Tang Clan 36 Chambers dinner pairing featuring 20 in-house dishes and 16 beers from Shawnee Craft and Dogfish Head. Expect choices such as duck stir-fried, pork belly, shredded pork, Dogfish 120 Minute IPA, Shawnee Belgian Tripel, and more. Guests will truly taste the flavor of Shaolin at this one. Dinner is $55 per person and starts at 6:30 p.m.

Discover a whole new taste pairing at noon on Saturday, Nov. 15 as the Oyster House's (1516 Sansom St.) general manager Daniel McLaughlin hosts Bluecoat Gin distiller Michael Higgins and Matt Teacher, author of the book The Spirit of Gin, for an afternoon of discussion and pairing of oysters and gin. The event costs $20 per person and Matt Teacher's book is available for purchase during the day.
