Need an excuse to don your favorite Hawaiian shirt? Grey Lodge Pub's (6235 Frankford Ave.)  Luau celebrates the pub's 19th anniversary on Thursday, Aug. 13. From 6 to 9 p.m. enjoy tropical beers, food specials, live music, prizes, and a Hawaiian shirt contest.

For soon-to-be brides and grooms: Hotel Palomar (117 S. 17th St.) wants to help you figure out your special day on Thursday, Aug. 13 during Bliss & Bubbles: a free wedding showcase event. From 7 to 9 p.m., meet wedding planners, venue offerings, entertainers, and more. Complimentary drinks and light bites from Square 1682 will be served.

If you didn't celebrate National S'mores Day on Monday, Aug. 10, you have another chance. The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education (8480 Hagys Mill Rd.) invites guests to enjoy some tasty treats while watching a meteor shower during Shooting Stars & S'mores. The event kicks off at 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14.

W. Atlee Burpee & Co.'s Historic Fordhook Farm (105 New Britain Rd.) opens its doors to the public on Saturday, Aug. 15 for a day full of agricultural celebration. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Burpee Fest will include a sweet corn-eating contest, garden tours, hands-on art workshops, and more.

Get an educational lesson as well as a tasty meal on Friday, Aug. 14 as the Wild Foodies of Philly host a Forest-to-Plate dinner at the Awbury Arboretum (One Awbury Rd.). The night starts at 6 p.m. and will introduce wild plants and what impact they have in the culinary world followed by a tasting menu. The event is B.Y.O.B.
