Fridays are always special.

For a tour: For those who can’t turn water into wine, they turn grapes into wine. Learn how it’s done and see the grounds at Hawk Haven Vineyard (600 S. Railroad Ave.) in Rio Grande, N.J. Of course you’ll be sipping and sampling the whole way through. The tour starts at 1 p.m.

For something new: The unveiling of a new pirate play attraction at Kids Castle (425 Wells Rd.) in Doylestown, Pa. takes place today at 4 p.m. Guard your booty and take part in the pirate-themed entertainment like music and face painting.

For a happy hour: Young professionals ages 21 to 35 in the area can rub elbows with other like-minded folk at the Independence Beer Garden (100 S. Independence Mall West) from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today.

For Nashville rock: Tennessee natives The Features make music that would be perfect to ride your horse to — if you had a horse. They come to MilkBoy Philly (1100 Chestnut St.) along with Born Cages, Public Access T.V. and Summer Scouts for an 8:30 p.m. 21 and older show.

For a cabaret: Local drag queen extraordinaire Martha Graham Cracker performs for free at 11:30 p.m. tonight at FringeArts (140 N. Columbus Blvd.) with some help from the Philadelphia Orchestra.
