For a science demonstration: Kids, don't try this at home. Representatives from the Franklin Institute will show the scientific properties of liquid nitrogen on the Parkway at Sister Cities Park from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

For free food: To celebrate the opening of its Doylestown location, Moe's Southwest Grill will be treating guests to free lunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Go crazy—there are no restrictions on menu choices.

For a green bean treat: If you've ever believed that dogs couldn't have favorite foods, think again. The main, four-legged character in Jessica Dimuzio's "Bow Wow Wow! Green Beans Now?" loves green beans and the author will be at the Morris Arboretum in Northwest Philadelphia to discuss the beans and organic gardening at 6:30 p.m.

For a support group: Those affected by epilepsy, as well as their family members, can meet at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, PA for discussion and dialogue from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For a singer-songwriter performance: Brooklyn native Sharon Van Etten brings her deep, descriptive and can't-stop-listening-even-if-you-tried tunes to Union Transfer on Spring Garden with doors at 8 p.m.
