Can you feel the fun today?

Can you feel the fun today?

For an opening: The experiences of wartime are depicted via posters, drawings, letters and more at the University of Delaware's latest exhibit "Delaware Awake! WWI at Home and Abroad." The installation parallels events on the front line with simultaneous goings on in Delaware. Find it at the university's West Gallery in Old College Hall (18 E. Main St.) in Wilmington, De. starting at noon today.

For organic goods: From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., stock up on all the fresh, locally grown produce you'd ever want at the Newtown Square Farmers Market at Mostardi Nursery (4033 West Chester Pike) in Newtown Square, Pa.

For teens: Every Wednesday the Central branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia (1901 Vine St.) hosts an anime, comic book, video game, cosplay adventure pow-wow for teens at 3:30 p.m.

For an open mic night: Wednesdays at Green Parrot Restaurant (240 N. Sycamore St.) in Newtown, Pa. are devoted to emerging local talent showcasing their stuff from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

For all-stars: Following the success of last year's Sittin' In jazz performances at the Kimmel Center's Perelman Theater (260 S. Broad St.), they've assembled a posse of all-star performers for a night of improvisational jazz, starting at 8 p.m. Expect performances from spoken word performer Ursula Rucker, trombonist Jeff Bradshaw and many more.
