For a dance performance: A six-day dance competition kicks off today at the Wildwood Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ. Studios from all over the country come for an organized dance battle of sorts. Performances run from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day of the exhibition.

For a zoo exhibit: The Philadelphia Zoo’s Zoo 360 attraction lets animals walk over pathways above the heads of animal watchers. The Great Ape Trail is perfect for keeping an eye on giant primates as they roam about the West Fairmount Park zoo, which is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For old-school entertainment: Today is the first day of Cumberland County, NJ’s local fair. The gates open at 4 p.m. at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds in Millville, NJ and you can catch pig races, jump on a ride or two and get a hay ride.

For a local showcase: York, PA’s Epic Pickles will be handing out samples of their handcrafted pickles at Weavers Way Co-Op in Mount Airy from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. during their Local Mondays display.

For a dance party: Two DJs fill up Kung Fu Necktie with a diverse selection of sounds every Monday night at 11 p.m. in Fishtown. Added bonus: no cover!
