A guide to the day ahead:

For homeschoolers: Children ages 5 through 13 who are homeschooled are invited to Bartram’s Garden in Kingsessing to learn how to keep bees at home. There are two two-hour sessions, one at 10 a.m. and the other at 1 p.m.

For singles: Get to Villa Capri Restaurant in Doylestown, PA for a chance at love.  Get your flirt on and take advantage of half-priced drinks at this 20s to 40s Singles Mixer, starting at 6 p.m.

For techies: Technology-minded Philadelphians will convene at The Quorum at the Science Center on Market Street to discuss starting a business and the future of Philly technology. The event begins at 6 p.m.

For non-bread eaters: A chef will teach attendees to Wayne Art Center’s gluten-free cooking class how to make gluten-free vegetarian dishes from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Wayne, PA.

For Beatles fans: Travel through the Beatles catalogue at the opening night of Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles, a music and video experience in honor of the legendary band. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Academy of Music at the Kimmel Center.
