The first of four Night Markets of the 2014 season, presented by the Food Trust, is taking over the street at 3rd and Arch this Thursday, May 15. Starting at 6 p.m. and running until 10 p.m., over 85 food trucks and restaurants will welcome hungry patrons to Old City. A few notable eateries like Amada, Continental and Panorama will be serving up the good stuff, so keep them on your radar.

Here is a selection of the over 85 vendors at tonight's market:
Amada – try the empanadas
Cheu Noodle Bar – try the black garlic wings
The Dapper Dog – try the chili cheese dogs
Little Baby's Ice Cream – offers handmade and non-dairy treats
National Mechanics – try ratatouille in a cup
Undrgrnd Donuts – offers handmade donuts
Yards Brewing Company – serving up locally brewed beers

Philadelphia eight-piece soul group Johnny Showcase and the Lefty Lucy Cabaret will provide the evening's entertainment, because who likes to eat in silence?

Once your bellies are full, hop over to the photo booth, courtesy of the Arden Theatre Company, and capture the memories. Naturally, the next step in this process would be to Tweet and/or Instagram these photos, so the Food Trust is encouraging all social media-inclined visitors to document their evenings using the hashtags "#NightMkt" and "#VisitPhilly."

Consider a ride to the market via Uber, as first-time users of the service get a $20 discount with the promo code "OCDNightMarket."

Be sure to mark your calendars for future Night Markets throughout the spring and summer.
