After casting your vote for the President and local elected offices, celebrate Election Day at one of these local bars or events.

Where: 2001 North 13th Street

Temple Contemporary, featuring the music of Philadelphia’s own King Britt, will be dropping more than 20,000 balloons from the ceiling at 10pm as the election results are announced. Free refreshments will also be served. Reserve your seat here.

 

The Blockley: Hurricane Sandy Benefit on Election Night

When: Tuesday, Nov. 6, 8-10pm

Where: 3801 Chestnut Street

Bring in 10 non-perishable foods (canned meat or fish, canned soup, juice, pasta, vegetables) for donation and the first drink is free. All you can eat wings and fries for $10 from 8-10pm and $2 Coors Light, $3 well drinks and $4 select craft beers.

 

Devil’s Alley Bar & Grill

When: Tuesday, Nov. 6

Where: 1907 Chestnut Street

Devil’s Alley will be serving up $5 specialty cocktails “The Obama Mama,” and “The Rumney Runner,” and $3 lagers all day while playing the election results with sound.

 

McGillin’s Olde Ale House

When: Tuesday, Nov. 6

Where: 1310 Drury Street

McGillin’s has been hosting election parties since Lincoln was elected in 1860. Drafts, featuring Yards Brewing Ales of the Revolution, are $3 all day.

 

SoWe

When: Tuesday, Nov. 6

Where: 918 S 22nd Street

SoWe is offering a free lager to anyone who votes Tuesday. Their menu will also feature Election Day themed bites such as “Big Bird Wings.” Election results will be played on four TVs with sound.
