The 2nd Street Festival returns to Northern Liberties

Festival season is nowhere near over! On Sunday, August 5, Northern Liberties is hosting their Fourth Annual 2nd Street Festival. Judging by the four music and event stages and a hefty schedule of programming, the festival seems to be larger than any of it’s previous years.

What’s in store? Well, NoLibs will be closing off North 2nd between Germantown Ave and Green Street and filling the area with workshops, art, food, beer gardens and other merchandise vendors making for a supersized block party.  The four music and event stages have been programmed by the Philadelphia Folksong Society and will feature performances by Man Man, The Great Unknown, The Spinning Leaves, Auctioneer, and many more. You can check out the full lineup here. Food will also be provided by staple Northern Liberties restaurants such as Bar Ferdinand, El Camino Real, Gunners Run, Dos Segundos, Standard Tap and Kings Oak. The best part? Entry is FREE! Head out around noon for music, food, beer, and fun that’s not to miss!
