Dan Deacon to play PIFA event next week

The weirdo Baltimore electronic artist/composer Dan Deacon will play the Perelman Theater for PIFA.

The weirdo Baltimore electronic artist/composer Dan Deacon is known to put on very unique live shows, in which he requires audience participation. Often times, he asks the crowd to form a human circle and selects lucky attendees to perform–just watch his SXSW 2012 NPR performance below.

It's highly entertaining and most of all, it's a lot of fun. He even has his own free iPhone app that changes colors according to the songs he plays. He highly encourages his concert-goers to use it during his live sets.

Dan Deacon will be bringing all of his signature antics and music to the Perelman Theater next Friday, April 12 as part of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA). Tickets for the show can be found HERE.
