Chestnut Hill welcomes Harry Potter Weekend this October

Okay all you Potterheads, time to dress in your finest Hogwarts garb for the annual Harry Potter Weekend in Chestnut Hill.

During the weekend of Friday, October 18, this two-day event will host an academic Harry Potter academic conference that will focus on the themes presented in J.K. Rowling's popular book series. The conference also includes the fourth annual Philadelphia Brotherly Love Quidditch Cup Tournament on Saturday, October 19.

Local businesses will be transforming their shops into the book's familiar landmarks from Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. Friday's kick off events also includes a Chestnut Hill Pub Crawl. Saturday's events welcome the Quidditch Tournament and fun activities like a Hunt for the Horcrux scavenger hunt, Dumbledore's Powers Maze, Defense Against the Dark Arts classes, special food, beverages and so much more to enjoy!

There will also be complimentary transportation from the Knight Bus Trolley system.
