Stephen Starr is making Oktoberfest into a family friendly celebration.

The local restaurateur is putting on two weeks worth of events that are fun for both the young and old. This calendar of affairs, happening in and around Frankford Hall (1210 Frankford Ave.), will kick off on Saturday, September 14 and will end on Friday, September 27.

The biggest event happens on Saturday, September 21 when Frankford Hall will host an massive, all-day block party that will feature various food stations, including fare from Starr's neighboring restaurant Fette Sau, various beer tents pouring Hofbrau and Paulaner, as well as carnival games, pony rides, music and much more.
