Celebrate Halloween in Manayunk, this weekend

Enjoy Halloween in Manayunk this weekend with loads of family friendly activities at this fall-festival themed gathering.

Starting at 8 a.m., over 50 booths will be set up for the Philadelphia Flea Market right on Main Street where all the action is. Up the hill at Pretzel Park, starting at 10 a.m., a kid and dog costume contest will take place with parades for both furry and pint-sized entrants. There’s also pumpkin painting, live entertainment, delicious food trucks and much more.

Main Street businesses will be open from 12 - 4 p.m. for candy-thirsty trick-or-treaters. All locations marked with a scarecrow have plenty of goodies to give away and you can grab a Manayunk candy bag at participating locations.

Between the food, shopping and trick-or-treating, guests are invited to take part in the zombie Thriller dance-off from 2 - 3 p.m. – yes, that one.

Everyone interested in competing will be broken up into specific age groups. The last dancer standing in their group, and best-dressed zombie, will win $1,000 in cash prizes. You can register here.
