Join in this Wednesday as DJ Brian Cassidy and his guests explore the history of breakbeats and DJing featuring special guest Tony Larson aka Triple Double.
Local DJ Brian Cassidy, of Universal Cave, hosts the monthly, hour-long program on a variety of topics. Each conversation explores a particular theme, such as the 1980s, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago house, outlaw country, the history of Philly Dance Music, and psychedelic Christian rock. Join in this Wednesday as Cassidy and his guests explore the history of breakbeats and DJing featuring special guest Tony Larson aka Triple Double. Illustrative records will be played throughout the hour, punctuating the conversation and educating the audience in an entertaining way.
Audience participation is strongly encouraged, so bring your own records. Feel free to stick around and listen to some tunes for an hour after the show. A podcast of each event will be available on the PAA website.
