With many college graduations finally over and Memorial day weekend off of our calendars, it’s time to focus on our future careers and learn more about the professions we wish to conquer. Here are some great networking events for the month of June.

On Wednesday, June 4 at 5:30 p.m. the gathering of the Young Professionals Network at The Dibona Room in Center City will feature a discussion about building the best worker in you. During Branding Your Best Self, participants will discover strengths and weaknesses that they never discovered before.

Social media has been a major factor in the world of businesses today. Find out how you can improve your name and company at the Urban Saloon in Fairmount during “Ok Your Social, Now What” on Wednesday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m.

Lavish Nightclub in Wilmington Delaware turns into a Professional Networking Center on Friday, June 6 at 6 p.m. for a night of networking, dancing, and social interaction. Bring your business card for a chance to be the featured vendor in the upcoming month’s event. This is a great way to promote yourself, and your business.

Nail salons typically do not host networking events, but on Saturday, June 7 at 7 p.m. Polish Nail Salon and Poetically Free presents S.I.P. (Support, Inspire, Preserve), a networking event in West Philadelphia revolving around building your own personal brand plan and what impact you bring to the community. Appetizers and refreshments will be available during the event.  

Tech savvy students and professionals are invited to the Quorum in West Philadelphia during Made in Philadelphia on Wednesday, June 11 at 6 p.m. This panel discussion will feature an in-depth look on the challenges of starting up a tech business, and what impact technology has on the future of Philadelphia.

On Thursday, June 12 at 5:30 p.m., the Philadelphia IT Circle hosts a discussion about Telemedicine and Telehealth at the Quorum in West Philadelphia that will cover the advancements, challenges, and opportunities of working in the field of medical exchanges.

You can sit on your couch for this one. The Nielson Company invites market-minded individuals for State of the Baby Boomer on Thursday, June 19 at 3 p.m. This webinar will discuss the demographic ages of 50 and older, and their impact on the market. If anyone is interested, or owns a business, this one is worth streaming.

Drink (in moderation) and discover more about Corporate Social Responsibility at the Field House in Center City on Thursday, June 25 at 5:30 p.m. Guest speakers will discuss the importance and the values of creating brand awareness through your business.

A fun boot camp exists…really. Marketing students are encouraged to attend a B2B Marketing Bootcamp in Center City on Wednesday, June 25 at 12 p.m. through Thursday June 26 until noon. Participants will receive an abundance of information in B2B marketing, marketing segments, measuring business value, advertising product design, financial tactics, budgeting and much more.
